I am very thankful for my little boy today. Stuart is in China for 9 days, so Jack and I spent a quiet Thanksgiving alone. At the end of the evening, I was feeling frustrated after 3 consecutive time outs for Jack because of his behavior. We were calming down and sitting together on the couch, when Jack turned to me and said, "Come laugh with me. Wanna laugh?" I love this kid so much. In a second he can make up for all the trouble he causes.
And as much as we missed Stuart today, I am thankful that he has work that allows him to provide for his family, even if it sometimes takes him away from us.
