Bad Mom

About a week ago, I pulled out the directions to Jack's train set to try to put the tracks back together after he had demolished it. Apparently, I was frustrated about something and said the word "crap" repeatedly while holding the instructions. Now, whenever Jack finds the instructions, he says "crap" over and over again.

Yup, I am officially on the naughty list this year.

It could have been worse...

I agree with Laura - it could have been MUCH worse.

Jack is great.

That totally cracked me up. Do you know how many times I've said something bad only to hear one of my kids repeat it later?

One time I was in the car with my mom, Evan, Rowan and Joshua and I started yelling, "Stupid lady - GO!" Rowan said, "Hey, my dad says that all the time."

It happens to everyone (or everyone that's human)

Hahaha! Yes, it always great to hear your kids say something and you think where did they get that from - oh from me!

Yea, there is a worse instance of this that I chose not to share becaue I am hoping it is an isolated incident. After helping dad with a challenging house project, Jack apparently heard a bad word slip out...minutes later, in the kitchen with me, he saw me drop the tv remote on the floor. The back broke open, sending the batteries flying. Jack pointed at the broken remote and said "&*%$." I was mortified!
