OK, the doctor seems to think that Jack may have a staph infection. He isn't sure. He said although it is extremely unusual to get it on the genitals, it isn't unheard of, especially since he just had the circumcision correction done. Poor baby. He does seem to be doing a little better. He still screams when his penis is washed and hates his diaper changes, but at least he is napping and sleeping through the night again. Yea! On a happier note, Jack currently likes to carry small objects around the house with him. He doesn't let them go, even when playing with other toys. It can be anything from a domino to a piece of paper. Here he is holding a piece of asparagus. He didn't want to eat it, but wouldn't let it go all evening.

Ben had surgery on his penis at 6 months and I can remember how horrible it was for 2 weeks after. For some reason, it took a little while for him to recover. Hopefully he'll be all better soon!
Jack has had so much going on with him lately that he is taking control anywhere he can - even if it means holding on to a little piece of asparagus!
Poor Jack. I hope he gets better soon.
I love that he likes to carry small objects around. That's cute.
The doctor says if we don't keep the infection out of the circumcision, he won't be able to correct it in in the office next time and we will need surgery. I really hope we don't end up going that route.
