Last week I got a song stuck in my head. Well, actually, it was part of a song...I couldn't remember how it ended. I hate when that happens. The song was Little Bunny Foo Foo. Don't ask me why; all I can say is I spend the better part of my days with a toddler, so my brain is a little warped. Anyway, I asked Stuart how the song ended. He looked at me like I was nuts (a common thing for him to do.) He thought I was making it up. I tried to convince him it was a real song, which he didn't believe. He told me it must be "some Mormon thing" that no one else knew. I tried to convince him, but to no avail. (He's as stubborn as I am.) So, I went to Wikipedia to resolve our dispute. Wikipedia is our "go to" conflict resolution tool, so we use it frequently. Sure enough, there was a reference for the song and it even included all of the words! Yea! The song was even featured once on South Park, so that helped convince him it wasn't some obscure "Mormon thing." Anyway, I have been singing it to Jack ever since, and he loves it!

My mom used to sing it to us all the time when we were kids. It goes: "Little Bunny Fo, Fo hopping through the forest, picking up the fieldmice and bopping them on the head." I don't know the rest either -but I bet my mom or Kim do.
Of course I know little bunny foo foo. It was a regular at our house.
When Stacy's oldest Adam was little, that was his favorite song. He even had a bunny foo foo stuffed animal that he carried around and would have conversations with. He's 18 now and I think of all his toys when he was little, he still has bunny foo foo.
As for it being a mormon thing. I don't ever recall singing bunny foo foo at church. Now, popcorn popping on the apricot tree. That is a mormon song for you.
Yup, I remember singing Little Bunny Foo Foo when I was young. It is definitely NOT a Mormon thing! I remember going to a Frat party once and they had their House song to the same tune as Bunny Foo Foo but the words were entirely different!!

I remember the song, but are you doing the hand movements correctly? And he really would like the popcorn song, which you also have to know the hand movements for him to really enjoy it!
I saw Jack today at Laura's house. He was so happy just to be walking around outside. If its possible, he's even cuter in person.
