What do you do when your baby has gotten stuck and is clearly in distress? Get the camera out to capture his pain on video.
He did figure it out eventually, but that didn't stop me from filming.

(He obviously likes doing that - when I pulled out a chair for him to get under the table, he took the hard route - through the other chair that I DIDN'T pull out!)
Man, he's even so cute when he cries.
I see that as good parenting. You didn't jump in when something got hard for him. You could tell he was frustrated, not hurt. You let him work it out on his own, and judging by the smile on his face in that second video, he was pretty proud of himself.
