My Shadow

Meet my shadow. He has to be a part of everything I do now. Watch as I attempt to cook dinner.

What can you say? The boy loves his mom.

I love the angle on those pictures.

Well, THAT looks familiar. About 7 months ago (when Wyatt started doing that) I finally decided to put the kid to work helping with dinner. He 'helps' me chop vegetables (he sorts them into bowls); he's great at putting toppings on a pizza or adding in spices to a mixture. Depending on what's on the stove he's allowed to help stir stuff, too. If I let him in on part of the creation in the beginning he'll then play in the cabinets peacefully (I think that's a relative term...)
GOOD LUCK! - Alex

Hey Girl. I was thinking about that suggestion of yours the other day. I was hesitant because Jack loves chaos. Whenever he sees something organized, he has to destroy it. Not kidding! If I stack up his blocks, he will drop everything and run across the room to knock them down. If I put something in a bowl, he has to dump it out. I'll have to give it another go. He is learning to put away his bath toys at the end of his bath, so maybe he is ready now. Miss 'ya! Kiss Wyatt for me.

Oh my gosh, I am in the same boat - and I even have 3 other kids who could be distracting Evan - but won't. It's frustrating - I know!
